How We Work Together to Mix Your Songs
We'll walk through each step of the process together - with clear communication along the way.
STEP ONE
Set the Vision and Start the Mix
We’ll chat and gather some basic information about your music, your vision, and your references. You’ll receive instructions for best practices on sending files for mixing. Based on your vision, I’ll prepare a first mix for you to listen to and review.
STEP TWO
Collaborate on Revisions
We’ll work together on any notes you may have. We won’t stop the revision process until you’re ready. To make the process as easy (and fun) as possible - you have the option to do revisions in real-time through a video call. If you want, I can stream you the session with high-quality audio, and we can dial things in together.
STEP THREE
Delivery of Mixes, Alt Versions, and Stems
When the mix is finished, you’ll receive all mix versions to be sent to mastering. This typically includes the main mix, instrumental mix, TV mix, and a cappella mix. You will also receive printed group stems of the mix that you can use for live shows, remixes, sync licensing, and more.

Hello, I’m Taylor Webb, your new favorite mixing engineer.
I’ve spent over 15 years helping artists get their songs across the finish line. In that time I’ve worked on projects for major labels, major publishers, and countless indie artists. I’m in the top 1% most-streamed mixing engineers in the world, and my mixes have helped artists get placed in official editorial playlists on every major streaming service.
Many artists have frustrating experiences with the mixing process. Some get stuck trying to mix their own material without knowing the craft. Others hire mix engineers that are a poor fit for their vision, or have misrepresented their abilities. It’s my passion to walk with artists through the process of translating the vision of their song into a polished, exciting, dramatic mix.
I provide artists with a mix of a quality they could expect from big names in the industry - at an all-inclusive package rate that equips them with everything they need to release their song, promote it effectively, and play it live.
I also help to educate throughout the process - answering questions and helping you understand the “why” behind what’s happening in mixing. This helps you craft songs with a greater ability to achieve your artistic vision.
I am proud to say that many artists who have worked with me have gone on to successfully grow their fan base and land placements on large, official editorial playlists.

Q. What’s your turnaround time?
You'll get your mix back in as little as 5 days. If you know when your songs will be ready for mixing, it can be possible to coordinate an even faster turnaround time. When you reach out to book, I can give you the most up-to-date timeline.
Q. How do you handle revisions?
I include unlimited revisions in the price of my mixing. I know it can be scary to think you’ll be paying one price for a project, and then start racking up extra fees if something requires extra attention. Most mixes I send are approved by version 3. I genuinely want you to love your mixes, and I will work with you through the revision process to make sure that happens.
Q. Do you charge for delivering alternate versions of the mix (instrumental, TV, A Cappella)?
No! I also include the standard alternate versions of the mix in my flat rate. The standard alternates I deliver are an instrumental, TV version, an a capella version, and a clean version/radio edit (if one exists). This better equips you as an artist for radio promotion, sync licensing, and social media. You don’t have to get all of these versions for your song, but I will take care of them for you if they’re helpful.
Q. For real, there are no extra fees I need to know about beyond the flat rate?
The only instances where I would charge beyond my basic flat rate for a mix are:
- If the song needs extra editing not handled by the producer
- If sections of the song are re-produced after the mix
- If you want to revise the mix after approval/mastering and re-send to mastering.
Most people never need these things, but I do offer them if you need them.
